The Student Support Liaison works closely with students, families, and staff to help every child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This role connects families with school resources and coordinates support plans to remove barriers to learning.
In addition, the Student Support Liaison serves as the Campus Section 504 Coordinator and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Lead, ensuring that students receive appropriate accommodations, interventions, and supports. This role facilitates Student Support Team (SST) meetings and collaborates with campus teams to review student progress, determine interventions, and guide referrals for special education evaluations when appropriate.
The Student Support Liaison collaborates with teachers, counselors, administrators, and intervention staff to monitor student progress and ensure interventions are implemented effectively. They also support teachers through coaching, curriculum updates, and problem-solving strategies to meet diverse student needs.
The Student Support Liaison serves as a point of contact for families with questions or concerns about academic performance, behavior, attendance, accommodations, or available campus supports. Through ongoing communication and collaboration, this role helps create a supportive, student-centered environment where all learners have access to the tools and resources they need for success.
